Looking to buy 049 engine for Stuka and more
Hello,
I am looking for a Stuka engine consisting of the cylinder, glow plug and crankshaft and the propeller screw for my Stuka. Part # 290
I have the red plastic control valve # 6400-7, no need
I would also like to find the propeller # 5517 and the spindle # 64007.
And why not gas tank ?
I have 2 rubber wheels (front landing gear) from Stuka that I would exchange.
I live in Canada, Montreal area

have already consulted your site which is very well done.
It is a reference that I keep.
I don't want to pay for a new engine, a used one would suit me very well.
I did not find a propeller or spindle for this Stuka in your site

Re: Looking to buy 049 engine for Stuka and more
The Stuka we are talking about. I it bought fews weeks ago .
What I bought:
Each of the 3 pieces cockpit ( the one for antenna is missing ) are broken in half, I glue them with success
Gunner was broken in half, I fix it
Front 2 screws missing; I modified some very small one i have

After many hours of work. I have front rubber tire and broken landing gears as spair.
Landing gear are cut from a broken wing.They are not the one with a screw. I don't know what I'll do with them.

Cox Stuka
This is a little something to help with your enthusiasm level for the Cox Stuka. After you get the parts you are waiting for, update your thread with anything else you may need. Enjoy!

Re: Looking to buy 049 engine for Stuka and more
Today, I just received in the mail, a propeller and its bolt and a set of engine gasket courtesy of the member dckrsn whom I thank a thousand times.
Still waiting for an engine and spindle which should arrive shortly, I haven't done anything on the Stuka since.
Be assured dear friends that I will keep you informed of the future.
Update;
Picture of parts received from dckrsn;

Re: Looking to buy 049 engine for Stuka and more
Hello dear members,
I just received the engine and spindle as well as the two bolts for the propeller from the member getback.
I'm waiting to pick up the gas tank before I can install all these parts in the plane.
The problem is that this tank is in Ontario, not far from my home (Quebec) but because of the Covid-19 pendemia, travel between our two provinces is currently prohibited until the end of April.
It will give me time to order the decals.
Thank you all for your help.

I'm glad everything is on track. Slow and
steady gets the job done. Looks like it will
be well worth the wait.
