First four out the door! Gentlemen, expect them next week some time...probably the early half. They are coming from Mississippi, so that should give you an idea of how long it takes to get to you.

Yes Jim-that's the bunny-if only someone made the same sort of kit now.....*I always though they were an ideal arrangement....and long before the idea of self contained starter setups became popular in the larger sizes. Likewise the adjustable glow power unit complete with edge meter that Fusite/Globee also put out around the same time 'FireBee? Firepower? ....something like that ....
ChrisM
* in fact its VERY do-able now using the cylindrical hard case LiPos...two in series would give you all the grunt you'd need for a 1/2A starter-if coupled to a suitable wind of 6V speed 400 brushed motor...the pain would be making up a suitable case to hold everything, finding a suitable switch etc ...but I already have enough 1/2A starters...

Re: [solved]most Efficent Glowhead Clip for Norvel Engine
The 4th should land tomorrow.
Number five is packed and waiting on GRF4413's address now. I hope to go to USPS Saturday am for the second "batch." I figured these would be snapped up faster, but only five have been claimed.
GRF, I never got a PM. Please try again.
Anyone else want one? I still have several! Numbers six through eleven still to be claimed.

Well look, I deleted my post (above) to give everybody else a chance at your offerings. But if you still have that many left, count me in. I think you may have my address, if not PM me and I will send it to you.

Dubro Glow Plug Clip
Hi Steve,
Please confirm your desire for the "Christmas Tree Ornament"...especially since your PM indicated you wanted the starter.
I think you got trapped by thread drift. The OP (FargoPhil) was inquiring about best glow plug clips for smaller Norvels. It drifted into starters for a bit...twice. I apologize for the drift since it was my fault.
However, if you want a Dubro glow plug clip, then I'm glad to provide one. I bought a batch of them just to give them away. RSV1Cox/Bob is number SIX (out of eleven). That should make you number SEVEN (since I have your Phys Address now). Try to confirm your decision before 8:oo tonight just so I have time to prep the package. A Post Office trip is scheduled for first thing tomorrow AM.
For anyone else...I'm counting up to eleven based on PM with Physical Address. Four more left AFTER counting 66 Malibu/Steve.

Wire?
Gents,
I was asked "what is the best gauge wire to use on this clip, and overall length?" I figured a recommendation may need to be made to the other recipients.
The Cox clips had roughly 20 ga wire at about 18"-20" (if not 22 ga).
Basically , cheap speaker wire would be just fine. Crimp ring terminals will be fine. Speaker wire is cheap enough to make up a couple of different lengths. My own regular set is about three feet long...and it was difficult to keep out of props on my twin engine Mosquito.
I'd use 18 ga wire at up to three feet or 16 ga for three to five feet. Cut long and shorten-up by six inch increments to get acceptable glow, if needed. 14 ga would be way overkill.
Oh, and I have a few more...Laramie? Mr. Russ? PM your physical/postal addresses. They go out tomorrow if I have your addresses before snooze-time tonight.
