A good Christmas for me Empty A good Christmas for me

This pic was taken on Christmas day 1964 or maybe 65. That's me with my new Cox Spitfire. In the background is a G.I. Joe F9F Panther. Also visible is the back end of a G.I. Joe Armored car, and a Johnny Eagle M14 rifle. I think the bridge toy was spring loaded or something so that it would appear to blow up when the truck went over it. Don't really remember, that was a long time ago. I was a happy kid that day. Very Happy

My kind of Christmas TL, especially the Spitfire and the Panther, both favorites of mine.

I remember spindly little trees like that decorated with those same “ icicles “…. And how much mom made sure we had a nice Christmas morning…. Sweet memories….,

My GI Joe’s did not fare too well…Most perished in battle…. Bottle rockets, Roman Candles, Smoke Bombs etc… Shocked
