Pee Wee - Play in prop shaft?

Re: Pee Wee - Play in prop shaft?
I thought of something. At the risk of sounding stupid...I was testing the engine on a bench mount I made. It was screwed firmly to 2x2 wood. I'm now thinking I need a hole through wood at center of mount for what I believe is the air intake on backplate? Could this have been my problem all along?

Should not be a problem. The Pee Wee's have a relief cast into the backplate that provides adequate airflow.

Re: Pee Wee - Play in prop shaft?
I think I got it.
I couldnt see anything wrong with any of the parts I replaced. I tested with one part at a time so I would know what was wrong but didnt have any luck until everything was in, including a new needle, that was the last part so maybe that was the issue.
Ran for about 3 sec, then 5, then 15, then didnt start again but brought it in and found no fuel in tank, not sure how much was there when I started testing. It going to run!
Question though, I know it depends on tuning but Im curious how long should a Pee Wee run on a full tank of fuel.

I get about 90 seconds on one recently rebuilt….
You might go thru this thread…. It’s for Babe Bee .049 but practically all will apply to a PeeWee
Good luck!
