At long last...
It's an engine mount but what for.
A baby bee does not fit, upper back plate lugs will not fit under the "upper feet" and the bottom screw holes are out of alignment.
The only identification is the cast in "2"...
Anyone recognise it at all please...

Baby bee won't fit. I don't want to force one in...
From memory a pt19 engine mount was similar having a knife edge top that located in the fuz, 2 or 3 positions, I'm not sure.
They where blue and a 4 screw engine fitting, with undercarriage ?
May be a stuka being black, up the baby bee metal back plate doesn't fit...

Re: What's this from please ?
The reason a Babe Bee doesn’t fit is because it’s not for a Babe Bee. It’s for a Product engine with a horseshoe backplate. Looks to be a late model PT-19 possibly.
It’s not really good for anything besides a PT-19. You could probably fabricate it into a wood model, but that wouldn’t make much sense.

Thanks guys, yes I think this mounting is from a pt19. I have 2 049's with plastic back plates, one white and one dark grey that fit perfectly. One had the red rubber prop nose like I remember on a pt19.
I think it is from a later version as I remember the mount being blue, but a bit hazy about the tank.
I have a third 049 with a red back plate which is small and square which might be the ,"postage stamp" back plate ?
That one has a thin alloy mounting, being formed and clamped between the engine and back plate. Would that be an oe part ?
