Beautyful shot, brings back memories of my own WEBRA Diesels made in Berlin 50 years ago. Excellent craftsmanship. Are you gonna fuel it and let this WEBRA run ? Video ? ?.
btw. I see lots of potential to lighten this engine/body Alu frame.
In the nothern part of "Blackwood forest" Germany.
first run 274,98 Kmh
I watched for Mr. Picco R.I.P. Italy himself
like he set up a "New World Record" in .60 class. ; - ))
And I say: watta noiiiiiiise !.
I am sure close to 6 Italian horses in power must have pull this car to reach that speed.
due to a lack of young talent, this sport will also die out.

I also had a 3.5ccm glow Webra that my mother bought me when she visited beyond the Iron Curtain back in the early 70-s...a true masterpiece, I do not have that anymore...

Thanks for those videos Peter, I watched all of the first one and portions of two and three. Would have liked to see closeups of the cars. I guess the idea is to guide them until they reach sufficiant centrifugal force then climb the pole. And the speeds, just a blur.
I won't be running any of them, I have a clapped out Cox Mercedes and altered Cox Champion for that.
The seller is an artist, not Rembrandt or Picasso maybe but an artist never-the-less. He's a jeweler and very European.
I have a couple of Webras Andras, beautiful engines.

nope,
the whiping man @ center circle/pole accelerates the Car till smooth pipe reso response mode.
At this point he steps up and
from this point everey engine/car is on his own and must work for it self.
All cars are powered by glows with tuned pipe , no whiping , no resonance , no rpms , NO Power,
like F2A
