Hand launched rubber powered, whip, and vintage models
Kim's Sleek Streak post and my son's recent find of some vintage models got me thinking.
A couple of years ago when my son, daughter, and I went back to my home State of New Hampshire I bought two Quillows rubber band powered Jet Stream gliders and flew one, mostly to celebrate the fact that not a mile or two away I flew my first model airplane some seventy years before. Then recently Mark found a few vintage paper and balsa airplanes and thought I would share.

Thanks for the memories, I dont think I was ever without a Quillows plane in my pre-teens, they were everywhere, but it was always an exciting moment when my dad added one to his purchase and gave it to me for hours of fun...making the biggest knots you can in the band!
