It’s so nice to have a good running engine

It’s so nice to have a good running engine
I just made this monstrosity
And went to go test the engine. It’s a sure start I put together, has a choke throttle and an exhaust collector. Anyways it took only about 2 minutes to be running on it’s own really well after I started trying to start it.
Now this may seem normal to you guys, but I bought a norvel 074 a few months ago that refused to start no matter what, I was messing with a pee wee that was barely running on bad fuel, and been dealing with a jerobee that hasn’t been wanting to start (I think I know the solution to that however). Anyways it was really nice to have something just work
Thanks for reading

Re: It’s so nice to have a good running engine
The surstart wit choke valve works Good i use one in m'y tigermoth I like to simulate engine failures i set the engine cut of To stal engine but Not To fast When I press the button quickly it stalls the engine which restarts after i like To spirale dive simulating a engine trouble bliping the buton
sur its a Good engine
I must warn you, however, to check periodically the thrust washer will wear out more quickly because when the valve is closed it sucks the crankshaft inside the crankcase use lube on that part Before each flight and check the play ...I used one once, it was present at takeoff, but no longer there when I landed The part is worn by friction

Lukemiester, your bedroom photo is a throwback to my days as a single man.
By the way, have been able to see the thread kindly posted by Eric?

After this, I bet you'll try another model, me, that's the one I made wit a air hog model the wing look like this

It's a shame I don't have a photo the engine was placed on the top Almos at the cg the propeller passed through the fuselage which had a hole to direct the air from under the plane It really was a funny bird
