Kim's parts Cox Corsair
Kim sent to me to harvest the canopy missing from another project that I'm working on. Way to nice, and I like the vert stab art so it's a keeper.
Missing the engine pod, I found an exact replacement on ebay, only it was red. I used the last (almost - running on fumes) of my hoarded Top Flight Insignia blue which duplicates the original Corsair blue to paint it. Pictures reveal that I will need to do some brush touch-up once it dries (24 hours.)
A little Testors red tube cement, some Testors blue enamel on the replacement wooden wheel and elevator pivots, some replacement decals, Howard wax, and we're in business.
Thanks Kim.

Re: Kim's parts Cox Corsair
I had picked up these two "parts" Cox Corsairs a while ago knowing that I had engines for them. They came complete except for engines and with a set of decals that I can reproduce and complete the up arrow tail.
One of each, horizontal engine and upright engine. Early one (horizontal) has a postage stamp, the other newer one a horseshoe engine.
