New shoes and decals for the yellow Prop Rod
Ever since I saw Crankbndr's superb example I have wanted one in yellow. If you remember I made my own from this:

Bernie has new tires, they slip on quite easy if a vice is used. Old hard ones came off with difficulty. I debated about adding decals, didn't want to cover up that beautiful yellow paint, but they came out rather well. My interpretation on how they should go.

A very well done rehabilitation of the venerable early Prop Rod, Bob. Just looking at the photos, it looks like you restored it to OEM. Even the engine mount fix you did is subtle enough that most would never notice.

YO Bob! you sure know how to make them look great in short order. I'm still working( sometimes-part time) on sanding/polishing out the glue stains on my Blue Prop Rod. Now, I'll have to check the condition of the tires to see if It needs a new pair.

Lost out on this one last week.

Started at $19.95, I bid proxy $34.00 not really wanting it, but I'm partial to those early Babe Bees. At the last minute I thought about it and overbid myself @ $52.00 at the 5 second mark. Got sniped when someone bid at the last second. Sold for $53.50.
Someone out there likes this trash more than I do. I was hoping it was someone here. Misery loves company.

Bob, even better, that rehab you did over the bastardized case was a miracle. When are you going to restore the other?

Bernie is the owner of Cox International and supplied tyres, at least I understood.

Now that's dedication. Beautiful CB.
I love that "upside down" shot. Such a smooth flowing design. I can see a mirror on the bottom and someone in the enclosure.

Don't know why they changed the design and added the ridges. The ridges could not have added much strength.
