Here's a link too the site that is hosting the live-stream to the memorial service for Judith Durham.  I know some of you are fans.

Such a moving tribute to a very special lady conducted by several well spoken speakers.

Thanks for sharing Ron.

To be frank, I found the memorial a little lame myself. I think she deserved better. I felt that it was politicised, given the fact that the service was arranged by the state government and everyone now sees it as necessary to include tributes to first nations people before they say anything else. It just seemed rather pointed and "unprofessional".
I did enjoy the tributes from her nephew and her fellow seekers, and it's good to see that there is a new unreleased song in the wings, being the last recording of Judith's voice ever.

Rod, with all the odd things going on down under, sorry to hear that they had to politicize her name, instead of giving her the honor and respect that she truly deserved. I kind of felt that a bit of Australia died with her, unfortunately. I really felt that overall, The Seekers did not receive as much fame as they truly deserved, yet at least in my heart, they were a style of music true to behold, different, refreshing, untainted, and truly pleasing to the ear.

It is just too bad that they didn't make it a program focusing on them and their memories of Judith.
