I often wondered if the Atwood had a flex shaft driving the prop or gears like the K&B Allyn outboards. Does anybody know?

I painfully watched one of my club members destroy one of these using a electric starter.

I believe it's a solid shaft and why use a starter it has a big flyweel To start The motor ... placed in this position must be easy to hidro lock if To mutch prime its a nice litle engines take Good care of the little one Thumbs Up
