Help! Wasp .049 Rear Crankcase / Tank screw & nut size?

Post  High_Rev Wed Dec 28, 2022 1:32 pm

Hi All, I just found some old engines belonging to my uncle, and one is an Atwood Wasp .049. The only items missing are the screws that hold the tank on. Can anyone tell me what the size/thread is? It isnt 4-40....

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I don't have access to mine, but here's the SceptreFlight review of the engine:

They're 3-48. Not always a easy find however especially over 1". However, the tank doesn't require them that long..

I'm not sure how they do it, but if I order from Mcmaster Carr in the evening the items are on my doorstep the following day.
