Re: texaco red tank and grey backplate
Charles, I think your request may be a tough one, because the red anodized tanks are the hardest to find. There was a time may be 10 years ago, that I think Bernie was offering such as parts, even had some plain ones anodized in other tints, too. I'd keep checking the auctions, RCG, RCU, Stunt Hangar, etc. for such, may be even put in a parts wanted request. Who knows, you may find a parts engine to glean such off, or one good enough to make yours a parts engine.

Re: texaco red tank and grey backplate
We just did an anodizing run in red (being shipped to us today) and, although we debated on getting red tanks, we ultimately decided against it as, in the past, they were sloooooowwwww sellers. It took like six months to sell the ten we last had made. However, we could probably get some made with the next anodizing run if there is some demand for them.

Bernie @Cox International, will those 10 be available on your website soon, or are they already committed to another buyer? If available, what type tanks are they?Cox International wrote:We just did an anodizing run in red (being shipped to us today) and, although we debated on getting red tanks, we ultimately decided against it as, in the past, they were sloooooowwwww sellers. We just did a production run in "red" but no tanks. Our next red production run would be months away and only at such time could we add some red tanks. Would probably be 8cc stunt tanks but we could also do some 8cc non-stunt as well as 5 cc ones. However, all three versions were incredibly slow sellers in the past; so hesitant to make them again.
Re: texaco red tank and grey backplate
i will buy 3 of them right now. I am not sure how many you have to make in an anodizing run, but sign me up for 3 red Texaco sized tanks.
ALSO, and I cannot say it enough

Minimum quantity per colour is 100 but, since we get crankcases, spinners and some other items anodized red, it would not be a problem to add some tanks to the mix.
