anyone recognise this plane
One the members at my club inherited this plane. It came with an 049, and the wing was planked all over when he got it, but he has taken the balsa off and covered it with tissue or such to lighten it up. He thinks it was built from plans in aeromodeller magazine in the early 1970's

Nobody at the club recognises it and I thought the best chance would be CEF

Re: anyone recognise this plane
Hi Yabby,
A one of, 'Tazmanian Devil' ?
Explanes the 'cheekiness' of the cowl...
A good CoxBW.049 should haul it...
Flying near the 'Roaring 40s', I would want fully sheeted wings !
Take care,
Have fun,
Dave
