What the ad on the homepage?
On the homepage, above the topics, there's an ad saying "download and play". It takes me to a site called "iLivid" and tries to install something.
Re: What the ad on the homepage?
yeah i clicked on that once, opened about 15 popups some of which started to download things.

Re: What the ad on the homepage?
I can't disable the ads for guests without paying some $10 a month or something like that. I can and did remove the ads for members. If you are not logged in, you'll see the ads. I do not like the kind of ads that they place on there, they are trick ads (download, next page...). I can't choose the ad type. JUST DON'T CLICK ON THEM!
Re: What the ad on the homepage?
You could have a donate money to help pay for the site advert , and use it to pay to remove the adverts and help with hosting costs etc.

Well, there is a contribution link way at the bottom of the page. No one has to donate. When someone does donate, I get it in credits (not actual money). I'll use it for anything anyone wants me to use it for.
As a member, you really shouldn't be seeing ads when you are logged in. If you are seeing ads when you are logged in, let me know below. I just know that I never see them on this account or my other account except when I'm not logged in. I know that guests see those ads and anyone who is not logged in because I didn't pay to have them removed yet.

Re: What the ad on the homepage?
I have found that they are small when not logged in and they are not too bright either I really don't mind them.
Re: What the ad on the homepage?
Yeah they just go away so I dint see the problem so there is not much point in paying for them to go.microflitedude wrote:The one goes away after you log in.
