Memorial Day 2024
On this day, we take a moment to remember the service members who gave their lives for our country and our freedom. While we're out enjoying the unofficial start to summer, grilling up burgers and downing a few cold ones with family and friends, we shall never forget the true price paid to enjoy such freedoms.

Yes. No "Happy" memorial Day. Somber with respect.
War, such a stupid thing. Plotted by tyrants and suffered by the masses. I had an Uncle and Cousins in WW2, all thankfuly returned safely.

Amazing story. Appeared on both the American Heros channel and the Smithsonian channel. Perhaps others.

Re: Memorial Day 2024
I'm remembering my "Uncle Len" Leonard K. Kritz/Staff Sgt./20+yrs./USMC/Veteran. He took me fishing, hunting, boating.. and my memories of him are vivid. He was my Mom's brother in-law.
Below; some photos of my Uncle Len...
Holding my baby Brother Andy.. Dec. 1966. I was 6 years old. His son "Chris" (born 1964) can be seen "peeking from behind" his lower-left side..
Nuzzling my Daughter Kathryn.. some 25-30 years later at Lake Manchaug, Douglas, MA
The "Supreme" Angler...
