"Wednesday Load-Out":
Getting a jump on the packing for this Saturday's
"Chester Area Christian Food Pantry Fund Raiser" at Breezy Hill.
We're collecting non-perishable food items and cash donations to help families through this excellent charity. If you're near Breezy Hill (just north of Chester, Illinois on Rt. 3) this Saturday, maybe drop off a can of soup or some bucks. We'll sure appreciate it!!!
I'm taking a blend of R/C and Control Line planes, and a BUNCH of balloons for us to try to pop with the control liners...and heck...even R/C types if we get some nerve.
Top Dawg's got a new old carburetor, my Billy-Built "Bee-Tween" has a new receiver after Mud Dabber stole its original during Summer S.M.A.L.L
There shall be a post-fun report.

It will be fun to hear about how the Balloon Burst goes! I hope you or someone else captures some video!!
Re: The Breezy Hill Flyers' "Chester Area Christian Food Pantry" Fun-Fly. "The Video"
Still crunching video and photos from the Fun-Fly, but here is a slide show of:
"Incident Over Breezy Hill"
Our Heroic President Brian defends Breezy Hill against intruding Spy Balloons.
It SEEMS like an easy thing to do, but like our own Air Force found out a couple years ago, knocking down a spy balloon can be a tricky business.
But Brian was able to chop the streamer from the fourth interloper...sending it on its way without its tail!
Brian launches his "E-Stik" as "The Unknown Balloon Man" prepares his assault.

That’s cool Kim, Hitting something in the air is a lot harder than it looks…. We had a fella in our club that would take a roll of toilet paper up several hundred feet and turn it loose…. Several big paper clips on the loose end caused it to fully unwind …then the ruckus began!!
