I don't know what a ss cox is but I would guess a sure start cox engine.

The answer is here:

In photo sequence #12, it has the Sure Start bolt pattern with a slot for the intake choke tube. However, it appears that he may have the bolt pattern inverted. Usually, the wider bolt pattern for the Sure Start mount top is slightly wider than the bottom. But then, the photo is taken at a slant instead of directly above, so could possibly be photo angle distortion.
