Re: Cox NaBOO - Just in time for Halloween
I designed the Trade Federation Droid rocket that you're showing here, the mini and it's larger sibling. Pre-production models are hanging out in my attic. Fun to see.
We produced SO many products for that second Star Wars series, and the movie was SO bad and eventual sales of products too. It nearly put Estes out of business. The owner, Barry Tunick, and management, went to a pre-release screening of the movie for licensees in Denver. Immed upon walking out they called the plant and told us to contact the factories and stop all production. It was interesting times both during development and post movie convulsions.
Have fun mixing up all of those earlier generation products and the latter. There was some interesting things afoot at the time.
