Still MORE Scanning: Dale Kirn's "290-Special" in M.A.N. June,1967
So, the Scanning Mayhem continues with this article in the June, 1967 issue of Model Airplane News.
During my early years, any acting on this great stuff would have been a disaster for my tiny collection of engines (and luckily, I KNEW that), but it STILL fired my imagination for what COULD be!
What a great time it was to be a Model Airplane Nerd!

Hi Kim,
I love scanned plans and articles. Thanks so much for doing this. You may want to engage Steve and Mary at Outerzone. They love additional/improved scans (and pictures) for their collection.
I know I scanned a bunch of full-size scans for guys over the last several years. Dalton Hammett from SH sent me a full-size Gee Bee sheet he wanted brightened up. I got to keep the original. If my wife goes first, I know what I'm wallpapering the living room with!
