The P-39 will need a decal set from Ebay, but otherwise appears good to go. I don't have a value so I was going to Ebay them. If you want them make me a offer shipped or offer a trade for engines or parts.
Joe
hey, what would you want for the extra 300? i have cash ready

Re: For sale Cox Extra 300
Hub Hobby has a Extra 300 hanging from their ceiling that they refuse to sell to me (I ask every so often). Their excuse is "its been hanging there for the last 20 years, they don't make them anymore". Next time I'm in there, I'm going to take pictures of all their Cox models that they have hanging in there.

It's actually very nice as it's an early one. I will post a few pictures later on.
Is there anything broken/missing on the 300?
Re: For sale Cox Extra 300
Nothing missing that I can tell. The pushrod needs to be connected at the tail and the engine needs cleaning. I ordered a new camera, because mine died. When it gets here I will PM you a better set of pictures.

Thanks Joe.
Re: For sale Cox Extra 300
The reason I ask is because I intend to fly it at some point. (not until I am pretty good at a trainer)
Re: For sale Cox Extra 300
hey Joe, can you tell me why the P39 would have a reversed rotation spring and a reversed pitch prop to make the engine run clockwise rather than the normal counter-clockwise? Is this so that the engine as the tendecy to pull the plane right rather than left, as to increase tension on the lines? That is the only thing that makes sence to me at the moment

That's right Mitch, to keep more tension on the lines.

Re: For sale Cox Extra 300
Everything on Google says a Cox Extra 300 is an RTF model. What is this engine? It looks like a TeeDee .051.
