Re: Corehouse Li'l Hacker
I know how money can certainly be a factor. However, that is 2 kits for $25.00 ready to fly aside from engine and mounting hardware and assembly. A real buy if you look at it that way. The Hacker kits do come in a box that is fairly large as all four wings cores are cut out of a single piece and the box itself measures about 18" long. I just sent a 1lb. 4 oz. box from Pennsylvania to Texas this past week at a cost of $13.00. Packages above 13oz. must be mailed priority mail and the rates from area to area differ. Had I done my homework on this I probably could've saved 1/2 of what I spent. In the event you still may want to try the Hacker, Phil does sell the cores in sets of 2 planes as well. You could certainly build the bodies. The cost of the cores are considerably less expensive than the kit. Phil does provide covering in the Hacker kit. I've seen planes covered in just dollar store packing tape with good results directly over the foam. This is a simple design only requiring Lite-ply for the fuse and 1/8 x 3/8 spars. As far as Phil shipping these items, one thing to remember is that most cottage industry makers are quite busy during the regular working week. Phil has a lot on his plate just returning from the Nats this past week not to mention he's involved in about 4 contests locally in the next few weeks. Ken

Re: Corehouse Li'l Hacker
I'm getting ready to sell a Li'l Hacker and did a Google to see if I could find any info and came up with this CEF link plus the video.
