Re: TD tach race 2012 (Engines on the way home)
My house is exploding with cox engines!!!!
That's a good thing
So far I have received entries from Mitch, Kim and Matt from EME.
Just wanted to let you guys know they have arrived safely. My fuel also arrived today so all I need now is the tach which I will pick up tomorrow at my LHS.
For anyone who hasn't sent your engines yet.... I get rural mail so add a day of slop in there as it takes a day longer for some reason.

Re: TD tach race 2012 (Engines on the way home)
Well guys,
It's 3 days before the race and I have very few entries. Not enough to even run one class.
I am expecting something from John G, Joe and possibly Paul G and Jason. Unless some kind of miracle happens this event ain't going to happen. At least not this weekend anyway.
I am not opposed to giving folks more time if needed, but I need the opinion of members here to press forward with a new date.

Re: TD tach race 2012 (Engines on the way home)
I just don't have a spare. All of my three are on planes, except the .09 which I've not even cranked yet. I'm getting a round tuitt though. Been needing one of those.

Ron:
IMO, once you start "cutting slack" in deadlines it never ends. Maybe members are just worn-out after the election fracus.
Personally I have no interest in a "tach race".

Maybe Dave,
The thing is I know that some guys are sending from far away and one contestant is rounding up crop season so I am thinking of extending.
Anyway, good news is Paul Gibeault has sent his entries so if the others show then all will be good!

Stay Locked and Loaded! If he delays it for a week waiting on another engine, you could launch one in time. I'm gonna try to run my Tee Dee .020 tonight while the dope dies on the the Ringmaster....just in case....

I could send my .010, I was never able to start it though.
Re: TD tach race 2012 (Engines on the way home)
I will make the call after tomorrow's mail run. The only small problem is the weekend after next is my hunting trip and then Thanksgiving. So it would have to be the first weekend in December.
If that causes folks problems with me keeping engines that long let me know now.

Oh well looks like I've taken over from Indra this year.
Still at least I got to contribute 28 bucks
To the Royal Mail pension fund.
Seriously tho Ron don't hold it up on my account,
Everyone's been waiting eagerly just hold it on
Sunday and let me know when mine eventually turn up.

John,
The thing is I need your engines to help round out the playing field. Seeing as you spent all that money it's only fair you get to play.

2012 TD Tach-Off
Hi John,
Whatever you want to do is fine with me. My TeeDee's have been stored for many years, so a few extra weeks makes no difference to me... In truth if I wasn't so lazy, most all my TeeDee's would be for sale as I've really no use for them over here at all...
Cheers, Paul

Re: TD tach race 2012 (Engines on the way home)
Glad you wrote Paul,
The mail just ran and no engines. So....... It has officially been postponed until the weekend of Dec 1st.
If anyone needs their engines back let me know. Hopefully not, but no big deal if you do.
The good thing is those who didn''t have enough time to prep and send engines, now have 2 weeks to do so!!!!!!!
That is all.
Ron

Hey Paul, whenever you're ready to unload them, I'll be happy to take an .049/.051 off your hands, even if it's dirty and needs a good tear-down and cleaning. Maybe that would make it more affordable.Paulgibeault wrote:Hi John,

Oh,
I forgot to mention this is all John's fault. Those Brits, kinda showy and they love to make a grand entrance by being fashionably late.
Just joking John!!!! I wouldn't dream of starting without you even though you offered. I bet the other guys feel the same way.

Good deal - I'll shoot at least an unlimited .049 your way. Let me know if you think I should send the .010...
