Well, guess I'll go first. Do any of you remember the Owen Kampin "Whiz Kid"?
One of the cutest designs if I remember right. I'd like to go micro RC.

I know it.'Whiz Kid' by Owen Kampen was in RCM Dec 1966. Uses Midwest foam wing & stab. NO built up wing or stab shown on plans. Fuse L 30" Intended for 049 & pulse RO with Adams magnetic actuator. Also shown is Rand motorized RO actuator but no elevator. Has swept tail fin.

I have the plans for the Super Whiz Kid and Whizard in PDF if you're interested. RCM no longer lists the Whiz Kid in their plans catalog.

The Whiz Kid and Super Whiz Kid are both about the same in size, but I believe the Super is an inch or so longer. The original Whiz Kid, as noted, was rudder only. The Super Whiz Kid was set up as AERT. The plans I have are for either a built-up wind or a 44" Midwest foam wing (I don't think this is available, but a commercial cutter might cut one). I think the Super Whiz Kid might be a marginal performer with a .049 and would perhaps be better suited for something in the .074 to .10 range.
