Re: aungmyatoo's collection
According to the "Cox engine museum", thermal hopper in paper box should be older than the one in plastic pack. But there is no date in instruction sheet. Tee Dee, Medallion, Bees, etc instruction sheets have something we can figure out the date of manufacture as "Litho in"

Re: aungmyatoo's collection
Nice stands, I used to use coat hanger wire to bend bee stands.
Here's a stand I made made out of piano wire for this TD .051
I should make a bunch more some day.

Re: aungmyatoo's collection
Nice, piano wire is more sturdy and can use smaller diameter.
Mine is aluminium and very soft, If I use small diameter one it will bend down itself with the weight of engine.

That's REALLY nice Mark!!! Definitely heirloom quality! It would be nice to build a large "Hutch" or "Armoire" along those lines... of course; then you'd have to fill it.
Re: aungmyatoo's collection
Got a part number on that case? It's really nice and what I've been looking for to store my stuff. Tried to find it on their site and can't seem to.

I got them at Menards, but i'd bet Home Depot has them as well.
