I need new Li'l Satan decals
My 20 year old ones are all yellow in the background and I used the devil head on my Li'l Jumpin Bean. I couldn't find any on ebay.

I had a sticker guy make me some once... he did them for me for free.

Stickers and decals are two different things.

I know. I had stickers made, but you can also get decals made and you can also make your own decals.

Re: I need new Li'l Satan decals
Here's a scanned and cleaned image from the kit decal I have made to print my own from clear decal film.
If you click and save it to your desktop your half way there. However, my decal wasn't in the best of shape and could use a bit of time in photoshop to fix it up perfect but I haven't done that yet.
Maybe Brodak is a better idea. I knew they made the old Goldberg planes but wasn't sure they offered the decals.

For some reason, I believe I saw a set of decals like that hanging in my local hobby shop. I'll go check them out tomorrow.

Brodak had them last time I checked.

Re: I need new Li'l Satan decals
Thanks dudes, I think I can take it from here.
I know Brodak has them, but theirs are all yellowed and aged looking too. Maybe that's just the way all of them were made. That's the way they were with my Brodak Li'l Jumpin Bean that I bought last Christmas. I cut as much yellow as I could out before I wet them, but that Li'l Satan script would be hard to do that to.
My sister may be able to do the text with a sharpie, and I could clearcoat it.

Re: I need new Li'l Satan decals
You know, over in (one of) my OTHER hobby(ies), model trains, there is a process that (1) dissolves the "clear" film and leaves behind only the color and then (2) "sets"(adheres) it to the surface. The products are MicroSol and Microset from Microscale, one of the last companies making hobby waterside decals. I'd bet that would fix the yellowing, followed by a shot of clear dope or other clear fuel proof coating of your choice, which you have to do in any event, IIRC - but other then a couple of scale efforts - I wasn't big on decals - I tried to keep things light and used magic marker with clear dope over it for numbers that were required flying combat and stunt.
