.049 Glider FS in my Area
What do you guys think? May be a bit much for just an airframe an engine.

Re: .049 Glider FS in my Area
The wheels are for landing not take off!
2 meter gliders are pulled up by an 049 swinging a 7 inch prop quite well. That price is pretty good for a good airframe and engine.

The glider looks like a Dynaflight butterfly.

Re: .049 Glider FS in my Area
I had a Piece o cake, nice flyer, my first radio model, I sold it years ago with Black Widow motor and radio to a mate fore $100 bucks, he was very happy with it.
Re: .049 Glider FS in my Area
my first R/C was also a 1/2a, I remember first couple flights I used 2 full size servos, 500mah battery pack with a Golden Bee, the thing flew like a brick barely staying airborne, quckly switched to a Tee Dee and 250 mah battery pack
I later added landing gear and a Fuji .099 and throttle, I destroyed it showing off, trying a outside loop that didn't work so good.

I'll have to see. I don't really have a use for another .40 trainer, already have one I haven't built yet.
Re: .049 Glider FS in my Area
I've talked to him before, he will sell just the .049 glider, but he didn't want to ship.
Re: .049 Glider FS in my Area
Yeah, he wants $40 for the glider.
It depends on how much I spend at the swap meet tomorrow.
