Post  geoli65 on Wed Feb 20, 2013 4:00 am

Hi all .
Does it happens sometimes when the engine runs to blow the air forward instead of backwards , even if i reverce the prop and the engine doesn't seems to work reversed?

Yes, very common on reed valve engines, especially if it's a bit flooded when you crank it. They will run happily either direction. A starter spring helps, and there is one type of starter spring that prevents reverse running completely.
