"Molding Balsa"...NOT to be confused with "Moldy Balsa"!!!!! M.A.N 12-64

I built the Hurricane. The Hurricane has a good airfoil and I'm not 100% certain, but I think it's the Flite Streak ribs. It's a decent airfoil nonetheless. However, the molded shells split longitudinal because the only glue area is the shell thickness themselves. What needs to happen is that ONLY epoxy should be used. In addition, the entire fuse should be covered in lightweight glass. Top Flite suggests silkspan and that would be the very least I would want and if so it needs to be heavy GM silkspan.

My Hurricane flew well even though I've heard others not doing well. I think my only real complaint was the small elevator. They did this to make it more scale like but I would increase it.

I've built the P-40 scale model with shells and also the P-47 with shells. These are roundy rounders but they're cool. My P-47 has a Mccoy .19 in it.
