Re: Mystery Plane
Ron, knowing the wingspan may shed some light. It looks to me like a Veco Papoose without the cockpit. I believe the Warrior was similar, but the stab looks like the Papoose. Ken

Re: Mystery Plane
Ron, it looks like an orangish-maroon, low-winger with a crushed rib. Hope that helps! I do like the decal... our ancestry used to be quite creative, back when people were modelers.
By the way, I have some "Legacy" airplanes, that I inherited 15 or 20 years ago, that I do not know their make or brand. Would it be okay to show them here, and see what our friends identify them to be? I have flown them, but do not wish to anymore, since I like keeping them intact.

Post 'em up. I won't know what any of them are, but I love looking at pictures.

Re: Mystery Plane
Okay y'all, see if you can help with what these planes are called. My best guess is that the trike is at least 30 years old, and has a 40 inch wing. The profile job has a 30 inch wing. Both are silkspan and dope. They may be something the guy just "whipped-up" but who knows? Help me learn about these, and have fun! Thanks!
