they still don't seem to be working for me! Is there like a setting or such that I have the emoticons turned off? Its really not a big deal but I would just like to know.

I have found that you have to go to "Profile" and then the "Preferences" tab. If you go lower in the list you will see a thing that says activate smilies. That should work then! I'll look for a setting in my admin panel that would turn the smilies on for everyone.

Everyone, haven't you noticed the forum was just created like a day ago! GIVE IT SOME TIME! Quit downing it, its people like you that say it will never be popular and that makes it unpopular. It will catch on soon- I bet that Buster is another person and not the Admins account. It just sounds like another person and not like the admins reply.

I have updated the emoticons so the old ones will not work like above. Here are some of the new ones.

I rescaled the engine and the logo and have added a little plane and a futaba control radio. Expect more emoticons sometime soon.

so you have to reset those settings every day so see the emoticons? Are you making sure you hit "save"? I know that I have "allow emoticons" set in the admin panel so it should be set to "yes" in everyone's account when they join. Well, I'll look into your account and see if there is some admin settings.

Glad to see the new forum. I started collecting Cox engines a few months ago and I'm totally hooked.

Looks like alot of info here. I am sure this forum will grow bigger and better as time goes by. Cox put all the rest to shame when it came to 1/2A engines. Even today they are sold or whats remaning from Estes sell out. New parts are being made so who knows what future holds.
