Agreed.  Where'd the year go?  I don't know!  Maybe this time I'll sit it out & let my record stand.  It's always a last minute rush for me & I don't think I will have anything extra to offer this time around, particularly since the surprise performance of my Aussie Bee Mouse...Bee....whatever    last time.  Not sure there's much more I can do to improve its rpm.  It's a freak.

I'd just traded notes with Mark, and would really like to pass on hoisting this year's race. I hope someone here or over in the .049 Collectors Group will take it up.

Well you deserve a break Kim. You've done us proud for a few years so maybe it's time for someone else to step up. Maybe even time for a break from the race for a while. Bring it back in a couple of years and it will be all fresh again. With Tach Race, Reed Speed, Traveling Prop, Traveling engine, Prop-Rod thingy, maybe it's just got us all too busy. For us "young 'uns" who still work full time and more, we're a little time-poor already. Sure, I'd love to have a go at a few more competitions, but it ain't going to happen for a while. Got a Ringmaster Bipe to finish yet to add a couple more flights to the Aussie total in the "a-thon", along with another 3-4 kits and a couple of rebuilds. All gets a bit too much.

Thanks for your work running the last three (I think) races Kim. Each year added more classes and last year was probably hard to run.
Must be a bear trying to start a bunch of over compressed engines!! I enjoyed the shows you put on and will miss them.
I would try to run the race but don't think I could do what you did.
