It's a pretty old shot isn't it? I thought they went out of service a decade or more ago.

Can't speak for th other services, but it's still in the AF inventory. I think they expect to use them for another 10yrs or so.

That looks like a Navy F-14 rather than an Air Force F-111 ( larger and single rudder/stabilizer).
