OH BTW I never did get around to building the Scalpels I got from Scoundrel ...still got both kits and the ACE foam cores

Balogh, the Shark XV goes pretty well with the .09. It's no pylon racer but flies nicely and with authority.

Fredvon4, you busted me. I haven't posted here on The CEF in years. Didn't realize my profile was so dated. Smile I'm currently in summer flying/building mode.

Having not participated in this thread I thought I would post a few pictures of my son and perhaps one of the best view of me.

The Mustang pictured was his first. A top of the line "K" code that he found in pieces and dragged home. Over a year or so we gathered fenders, interiors, seats, etc and put it together. I laid down the primer coats and lacquers and Mark did the hard work of rubbing it out. He bought it at 16 and at 19 he used it commuting weekends between our home in Maryland and a Naval Base at Oceana Virginia, serving in the same squadron that I served in back in the 1960's.

Later a married man, he played like a kid again as we all do.
