bladder location
Is there any real reason to NOT locate the bladder on the inboard side of the fuse?
I get tip weight concerns, but tat is all I come up with.

Re: bladder location
None that I can think of. Heck you could mount it on the tail if it balances correctly:D

Re: bladder location
I try to locate as close to the cg as possible. What side it's on shouldn't matter, in fact on the inboard side you will be able to see how much fuel is remaining.

Re: bladder location
This is on the Baby Flite Streak I am building. The bladder is going inboard, forward of the CG, just forward of the wing LE since I can't seem to shift the engine forward enough to balance at 15/16. The bladder cannister I made from a 50ml round squeeze bottle seems to bring the CG up to just over 1 inch back from the LE.
This location is actually back a bit from the location recommended for the metal fuel tank.
With the bladder inboard and the engine outboard I have space to run the fuel lines and clip. I might try a metal clip since there is no obvious clean way to mount the plastic clip.
I need one of those fancy CG jigs...
