Okie fun fly

Okie fun fly
Me and the boys got together today for a little fall flying. Sunny weather 60's and light winds, made for a great day. I was only able to get 2 flights in as my landing gear broke on the Clown and my Ring. The Clown was my fault as I tried to straighten my gear after a rough landing. The Ring was sort of my fault as well as I was flying behind my son when I decided to let him take the reigns. I don't think he was ready for the pull. Anyway he splatted it and broke the gear.
The old '52 Fox is just running so well on the Powermaster 10/22. Perfect 4-2 break and plenty of torque to pull me through maneuvers.
Here are a few pics of the beginning of the day.

Barnstormer I believe Ian. That one didn't fly yesterday. I liked the look of it too.

Man, that's some line-up ! Maybe you've said before, but is this the club that had the contest last month?

Kim,
These are the local OKC guys. The Tulsa Gluedobbers were the one that hosted the event this year. That didn't pan out for me as I had to work last minute. I am still bummed about that.

Man, I wish I had some flyers like that close to me ! The guys over in Paducah are great, but the 2 hour drive getting there wears on me a little bit.
Looks like a great time on a beautiful day! Guess several of us "got some oxygen" yesterday !!!

Yeah, even for me it's almost an hours drive. It's worth it though. Heck it's always worth it if you get to fly!
