What holds the muffler from falling off? Neat little engine.

There is a small grub screw that will hold the muffler, but the muffler has not been drilled for it from the factory. The case has a tiny hole facing upwards and overlapping with the muffler (very hard to see from the camera angle though in the first picture).

That's a really sharp looking little engine. Looks brand new. Maybe good for a Jr. Flite Streak or something like that.

That is a crisp casting. I always like engines with that level of detail - it is eye catching.
