Took a few detailed pictures of the TD 15 Special ignition conversion I just got today. The timer casting is very well made as is the points and spring. It looks to have been run with the conversion but not much. It will need a need carb body and some detailing.

I like the recess job on the prop screw.
I'd also be curious to know what prop is used.

The TD 15 likes an 8x4 but with the gasoline conversion I don't think it turns as much RPM. Not sure as I have never run one of these conversions. I'll have to ask on the old timer section on RC Groups.

Take a look at the new YS CDI's then
try and get that thing to run spark+glow fuel.

I am selling on eBay a large collection of engines for the widow of a good friend of mine recently died. One engine is a COX with ignition. It has a tag that has written COX TD .09 BERNHARDT CONV. The only thing I can find about Otto is a conversion of a COX .15
