Tom Morris
Tom had a heart attack while flying in a contest in Florida. He called John Simpson to come take his handle, and EMS came quickly. They took him to the hospital while his heart reportedly stopped for 8 minutes, and EMS kept him alive, and he's recovering now. Docs said if he'd been sleeping when it hit him, he would not have woken up. His wife and son drove 800 miles to the Tampa area where he's in the hospital. Prognosis is okay for now.
Jim Mynes, that was the contest you were talking to me about last week. Were you there?
Best wishes to Tom, a great guy. One of the people who always takes the time to come up to me and speak when we cross paths. Including the first time I met him, he introduced himself and asked if I was Rusty. He and Wayne know each other pretty well too. Wayne flies Tom's Cavaliers and helped set up the e-conversion on them.

Re: Tom Morris
Them EMS personal can be worth their weight in gold! Sounds like something bad happened at the right place in the right time with a positive outcome. Sounds like the kind of person we need to keep around for a bunch more years. Send him a our best wishes for for a speedy recovery.

Re: Tom Morris
Thanks Marley
Yes he's one of the good guys. He does a lot for our sport, does it well and enjoys it.
Some orders from Tom's Building Service and Tom Morris products, http://www.stunthanger.com/hobby , may be delayed, but I think he does have a helper. I'm sure custom orders will have to wait.
