Back in the day Veco used to make small aluminum spinners. Sometimes they show up on eBay.

Brodak has them
I got mine from Hobby King (site is down right now so I can't post a link)
I know Brodak has some that fit their .049 and .061...may have to modify slightly for the Cox 049 propeller screw size

Cox international has the plastic one for 049 that snaps over the stud and looks to ba a tad over 1.25"

http://www.leemachineshop.com/ he has the nicest aluminum spinners available he may have 1 1/4" but he lists 1" Ken
