Terrible flying session

Terrible flying session
I had a terrible flying session on Saturday.
I was testing my Black Widow as I was having problems with it.
Had one flight, taking it easy and doing some level flying.
Started for the second flight, at approximately half a lap, I suddenly had no line tension. Basically did a wingover straight into the ground.
I think it was a wind gust, but it all happened so fast.
This is the wreckage:

I have already started putting her back together.
She will fly again.

Man hate to see that Theo , sounds like you needed to back up fast to get some tension back in the lines ... some times you have to jerk some sense into the little devils .
good to hear you are repairing it they say planes always fly better after you fix them
What model is that Theo? Did you have off set in the engine? Getback

Me too Theo!
Hate to see that. Looks to be a fairly straight-forward repair though. Hope you get it going again quickly!

Getback, Yes I have engine offset. I have flown the model many times before with no issues. It is a Baby EZE designed by Keith Renecle from South Africa. It is a nice and easy build and the plane flies great.
I have already got the Fuselage and the engine mount back together. I am now just finalising the wing.

Ca and 5 min epoxy would have that model in the air in minutes. It's unfortunate but it happens. I love to make models look nice, but unfortunately they can get some hangar rash. Ken
