Fox 35 c1968
I expect this should have a name change and become "Vixen" as a Shelf Queen.
It would have been produced between 1968 and 1970. It is almost the same as the 1958 35 but it has a divider in the exhaust outlet. Groove around drive washer, "FOX" over 35 on casing, and circlips on gudgeon pin.
Originally this would have been a sad and dull casting straight out of the mould.

By dull I mean not shiny.
Lacking brightness, vividness, or sheen.
An unfortunate choice of word when it has two distinct meanings.

I see, I read it wrong.
Anyway, here are a couple early ones I picked up recently. Should be around 1954 or so

The one on the right looks like 1954 and the one on the left looks like 1953 but it could be 1952. If it has a splined drive it is 1953.

That .35 long stroke crackling sound, whether from an old Fox 3 bolt back, K&B or Veco Green Head, McCoy Red Head, etc. is a sweet sound to ears.getback wrote:http://www.foxmanufacturing.com/ WELL!!! just callem old long stroke , ew ew that cracking sound!! Getback
