Use washers under the head of the screws and it will be fine. I have about 15 engines just like that. I have some with holes in the side of the case and some where the venturi has broken off and out of the case. This is due to combat and mid air collisions. Ken

Ahhh, I was looking at that one. The price was good, but I didn't want to deal with it. IIRC it is "seized" too. Throw it in a jar of fuel or alcohol and let it sit overnight. Take the head off if it is easy. I bet there is nothing wrong inside.

I bid on those too, I was going to bump my bid up at the last minute but forgot. This lot came up and I bought 2.
I am playing with an AP version right now. Freaky similar like they used a big mig as a casting plug. We shall see how performance compares if the plane survives for long.

I quite like the pre-revlite ones, they are more like other ABC/ABN engines when it comes to running in and overall handling etc. The AP ones are a poor copy at best...
The later revlite ones are a different beast/breed, much more tricky to run in properly...
On sport props the MP-jet .061 feels a little stronger, to me, but it is also heavier...

Throw it in some fuel or denatured alcohol. Look at it again in a couple days.

Give it some heat from a heat gun and the old castor will soften right up.
