[Sold] On Consignment at My LHS: Green Box Nobler Kit---$45.00
Visited Tailwinds Hobby Shop today, and noticed a Green Label Nobler Kit they're selling for a local guy. The price is $45.
Incredibly enough, I didn't have a single camera with me and haven't yet made friends with my new stupid phone, but will be glad to get some photos tomorrow if someone here thinks they might want it. I'll do it for price and postage as I like to see these old birds go to a good home...even if it's on someone else's shelf!
Since I didn't have a camera to document the thing, I didn't open it up and check out the pieces. The box has water stains, and it's cardboard is a bit wrinkly, like maybe it's been out in a shed.
I'll probably post some photos either way since, that's apparently just what I do.
Patty says he will be selling more, so I'm gonna ask her to email me if some other boxed stuff shows up.

Kinda got that sense!
I called Patty and she's gonna put aside for me, AND let me check it out so that you'll know you're getting all the parts, and that they're in reasonable shape.
She also said she'll call me when and if the fellow brings in more stuff.

Mmmmmm! I wonder!

I think the majority of people like the Nobler's styling, I am torn as it doesn't overly appeal to me, but I can't deny that it flys well. I would modify it if I owned one.
Truth be told I don't like the Flite Streak or the Baby version either. Something about the styling turns me off. I do own both though
I respect the fact that others like it and they are excellent flyers.
The good thing about this hobby is the vast amount of designs. We have choices.
The profile versions are not my thing either.

Bet I look like a hypocrite!
$45 for a Green Box is a heck of a deal. If I build it you can expect a pseudo kit bash with a more tapered turtle deck.
More than likely it will be a template model. Of course that built up stab and elevator will be a pain to trace without knocking it out of the surrounding balsa.

Hypocrite is far too strong a term.
I would say that you have released a long suppressed desire to build and fly a Nobler that you have kept hidden by negative comments.
It is probably just a start. Soon you will be flying all electric radio control and extolling the virtues of lipo batteries, ESCs, brushless motors ..................

Who's names are on the plans for that green box nobler? Designer and Draftsman or architect. Windy had something to do with that one I believe.
