Getting This Ready for some Air No_tag10  Getting This Ready for some Air No_tag11  And I don't know if the tank is clean , any suggestion's on cleaning maybe run some denatured alcohol through it ? Its about a 30" WS 2 channel I got last year at a swap meet $20 cant beat that for already to fly just install components, radio/engine . Of coarse check it over for air were the ness , TD or Medallion 049 not sure yet  . thanks Eric Very Happy

You can also use non-chlorinated brake cleaner to blast out the insides of the tank. I would replace those wheels with a lightweight foam pair or just do away with the heavy landing gear altogether.

Fuel or an alcohol flush should clean the tank out. Do it a few times till the stuff comes out clean.

TD's or Medallions are pretty light engines so it may need that gear. Or it may not. I guess see how it balances.

Have fun with it!

Hey Eric, nice deal! If you keep the gear on.. (I would) you could test some lighter wheels which shouldn't mess much with the CG.. but you still have to check it. Just take note of the axle diameter and length to assure a good fit at the hub. You could go 1/4-1/2"+ larger in wheel/tire diameter using lighter weight wheels. Your ground-handling on rough runways would be better.. along with smoother ROG's. Flaring for a wheeled-landing; when you have a runway is just as much of a challenge as the flight is.. and so much more realistic. Look at the electric offerings. They'll be junk after a season.. but who cares.. Some models don't last that long... Affraid or WOW!

This an't going to work Getting This Ready for some Air Plane_10  Getting This Ready for some Air Plane_11 I did not build that but I will fix it if the guy ever flew this thing then no wonder he got rid of it . I hope to flush the tank and mount the engine today after I figure out how I can redo the rear horns/screws hitting each other Shocked Got some cheap micro servos ordered and a charge/switch assy. I hope it will fly half way decent 2 channels can be fun not a lot to go wrong lol! Eric Very Happy
