And Kim, super job.  It is a pain in the rear end to set up one engine the first time, let alone all the ones you've done and will do.  Glad there are still doers like you to help us enjoy out marvelous hobby!

Superb job everyone, to be honest, I didn't expect to see those numbers including from mine, this was defenatly a learning experience for me!

Cudos to Kim for hosting this and putting up with all the aggravation with the setup and crankiness as well as all the figuring, sorting, pics, video's (if any) and shipping. Something like this would probably drive me up the wall if I had to do it! Kim, "You're Tha Man!!" Clapping (Bandit)

Well over all I think I didn't do too bad being my first time in the TACH RACE A 5th , 3rd ,2nd ,and another 3rd. Although a couple of those classes had small attendance . But with MARK whipping up on us , going to have to put some work in to try and up the anny for next time round Cool  That was a lot of fun and I bet KIM smells like NITRO !! ( and that ant bad ) lol! Good Job Everyone Thumbs Up

Spectacular results, never seen a Tee Dee go 25.5 with a two blader.

Yeah, I realized early-on with the Mouse engines that the numbers, while expected to be higher, WERE pretty far up there. But changing the tach battery and checking it against the shop lights ('bout my only options) showed the same numbers, and the runs DID seem fairly grouped.

I know the odds are against my getting some world record numbers in my little shop, but Eric and Matt's Tee Dee's boh hovered around their top rpms with very little surging, so I was left to record what I saw.

I've seen those numbers on the non safety tip Cox 5x3 on good runners. I've seen a solid 26 but backed off. I've had some break the crank right at the cutout. When I had failures it was always flying and not on the bench. I'm sure the rpm's go even higher. I just had a few out myself this past weekend. I really do enjoy watching the TD run. Ken

Kim,
Thanks again for all your hard work.
So now i gotta wonder if we've reach, or come pretty close to the ceiling for RPM for these engines, the top Mouses/unlimiteds pulled pretty close to the Tee Dees!

Hey,

You guys are welcome, and thanks to all the participants.

Some of the engines are are starting home today. I'll be sending them as I get the prizes sorted, and will type up a final report.

Today, Wayne's and Augustin's engines are heading out...please let me know as soon as you get them so I can know they got home OK.

Hey Daryll,

I was just talking to David Z and he was telling me about you having engines in the Tach Race. I saw your name, but didn't realize who you were. This forum is great! Lots of fun things to do. See you next fall or sooner. If you are up at Lebanon, stop by; I'm in the west hall, table C35-36.

That's great, we got some publicity. We did last year too.
