My new toy!
It's not really mine, it's a loaner from one of the members of Central Arizona Control Line Club. It's a full competition navy carrier plane with line slider, 3 line bellcrank and a throttle. The Thunder Tiger .36 is mine, ran it for the first time today and it started on the first flip. We are making lines for it Friday so I can practice for the southwest regionals in Tucson the last weekend of January.

The Thunder Tigre .36 is an amazing engine. I use it for combat and stunt. Very powerful and reliable. Many were introduced as short shaft heli engines. Mine was converted from a heli. It also swaps out with the same bolt pattern as the Fox .35, Evolution .36. That engine really packs a punch. Also no longer available and parts are even starting to dry up. You find something that works and POOF! Ken

Those carrier planes are something. I was completely surprised the first time I saw one put through its paces. We have a pretty good contingent of carrier guys and gals in our club.

Cool Jim, not sure I understand what is going on with that tank arrangement.

The line going over top vents the big inboard tank to the little outboard tank, there's a feeder tube that goes through the fuselage. You fill through the small tank. That's the how, as for the why I'm confused as well.

The tank looks like a hopper set up / maybe to keep from cutting out when going to a stall when coming in for the catch ?? Just guessing

That is a fantastic looking semiscale profile Douglas Dauntless WW2 dive bomber, JPvelo, those at the Central Arizona Control Line Club sound like really fine folk.
