Whoa-ya, that's the guy I saw fly at the Airshow ( way back when I was a little kid) and really liked that airplane. I remember the announcer talking about this was Bobs way of showcasing the safety of this "business class" airplane, while doing those loops and rolls with out the engines running! Yup, I'm gonna fly just like that........

yep, that's a cool video, i was also lucky to see Mr. Hoover in Rockford, Il in the early eighties do his show with the Shrike.

I've heard Bob Hoover speak at the EAA Flyin --- even as an older gentleman, his stories were incredibly interesting. The only downside to his talk was that it was far too short.
