.051 Piston / Cylinder mfg

Post  WingingIt74 on Sun Jan 11, 2015 11:55 am

When was the .051 produced? In what configurations?

I think it was as:

TD (2-bypass w/ 2 boost on each side)
NFFS Medallion (Double groove on piston)
.050 (2-bypass and no boost)

051: Two by-pass with 2 boosters each.
050: same as above, but non-SPI. Only two production runs of 2000 engines manufactured in the mid 1990-s.
Medallion 051: it has a larger bore diameter than the TD 051. I have a brand new piston with two grooves on the skirt, but it does not go in the TD051 cylinder
